Which is why I could see, if it's true that City are his preferred destination, RVP changing his mind and saying he wants to stay. There doesn't seem to be a lot of suitors out there, and there shouldn't be, given his injury history.

As much as I hate the thought of him playing in England, United might still be interested. Not ruling them out.

This is the summer I've been wanting us to have for a long time. We've been proactive about our transfer signings, we've vastly improved the team, and it looks we've finally realized you actually have to spend something to be able to compete for a title.

If we get Sahin, it's the icing on the cake. If we don't get him, then it was still a great off-season, even if we lose RVP (his claim about our lack of ambition rings false after these recent signings).
