    IIRC, Song demanded to leave.

        I believe that is correct.

I don't think it was an RVP style situation, but it seems he made it clear to the club he would gladly go.

The only one of those guys I would take back is Cesc. Those other guys can piss off.

I'm telling you guys, Financial Fair Play is actually going to happen. Will it make Arsenal better? I'm not saying that. But it's real, especially when things like this are coming out.

Premier League clubs face points penalty under new spending rules
Clubs will be docked points if they fall foul of new financial control measures designed to curb wage inflation when the new £5.5bn TV deal kicks in

Keep doubting all you want, but at this point I think it's inevitable, and I can't wait.

I've also seen articles saying that clubs were going to be allowed a 20 million pound cushion as well. UEFA say they were stomping out racism as well. I hope it happens but I'm not holding my breath.

I think they'll regulate finances before they ever come close to eliminating racism. Which is a very sad thing to even think about, but it would not surprise me.

Also, these new rules that have been laid out are for the Premier League. They're not from UEFA, and are different from FFP.

Vermaelen's out of this weekend's match, and Kosc is going to be a game time decision. This could be trouble, as if they're both out that might mean Sagna has to slot over to the center.

Seems much more likely that we'd see Miguel. Or if we're really unlucky, Squillaci. Although I thought he was injured.

It lists Miquel in the squad traveling to Sunderland so it could be a possibility.

AW mentioned Miquel as being an option. I'm ok with getting Jenkinson out there at full back. I think he's a bigtime player for us in the future.

                          Just saw this on Sky:

Gremio president Fabio Koff has confirmed he is trying to agree a deal with Arsenal to sign Andre Santos before tonight’s cut-off for the Copa Libertadores. Reports suggest Gremio want the full-back on loan until December and Koff says ‘negotiations have advanced, then gone backwards’.

Did they go backwards because they watched him play?

Also, Ignasi is one of my personal favs(I always grab him on loan in FM), so hopefully he gets the call.

Even if the price was "absolutely free" I'd still probably disagree. Maybe Gremio is trying to get you guys to pay them to take Santos.

                                I'd still do it though.
