Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
I have a strong love/hate relationship with Theo. He seems uninterested and his play is uninspiring far too often.
But my god, when that man wants it, it's ****ing brilliant.Support Local Sports

I would say nearly all would have more success under different management and coaching. Jack would most likely not have the same injury issues, as it seems clear injury issues at Arsenal are systemic. Ramsey wouldn't be allowed to do whatever the hell he wants on the field. Gibbs would perhaps be the same, he always did his job when called on. Ox would of course be in a better situation as of now.
Carl...you'd be the same, most likely, but you're a good lad.Comment

How the hell did they get Ramsey to sit in a perfect line there? I thought he would have aimlessly wandered in front of the table or something.Comment

Jack before injuries was everything that English players are not. He loved to dribble and take players on, had tons of flair and offensive passing vision that most English players don't have. He was great at keeping possession and helping to control the midfield (with the right partners).
English defenders aren't having that, and English referees (as well as the media in general) have never been interested in any form of player protection. Every time Jack was on the field some defender would want to give him a "welcome to the Premier League you little ****" tackle, and they did. Eventually he started getting injured because of it, and his career has been off track ever since.
Jack had too much flair, and was far too interested in dribbling around and playing that "tippy tappy prancing nonsense" for an English player. If he had come up in the Italian league or Spain, where that kind of play is encouraged rather than looked down upon, I think his career would have been very different.Comment

Obviously the whole Arsenal injury thing plays a big part, but imo Jack was largely ruined by the English game, in conjunction with Arsenal players being injured all the time.
