English media is very tabloid headline driven it seems(from the outside) every now and then I find a good article with actual substance though.

That is very true. I mostly listen to podcasts and BBC 5 Live which has a nice post match most of the time. But anything related to Arsenal or Liverpool is horrible. They think Arsenal are a relegation side while Liverpool are the best side in Europe.

Outside of those 2 clubs, 75% of the conversations are valid. I just found it funny how good Auba is doing and people still find a way to cut him down.

He's such a brilliant finisher that we just need to create chances for him and he'll put them away—clinical finishing is something we've lacked since RVP left, I'd say.

The real test for the next manager will not be creating chances with the squad we have, it'll be stopping them—huge test.

Every dime Arsenal spend this summer better be on fixing the defense.

Yep it's that end of the pitch that needs an overhaul. A long-term replacement for Petr Cech should be addressed also. Ospina isn't the answer imo.

Funny... when both Chech and Ospina are better than Liverpool's alternatives.

They're both far too inconsistent as of now, though. If I had to guess, I think Ospina leaves, and we bring in someone young to split time/learn from Cech, or a more experienced player to compete with him or take his spot—I'm fine with either.

this was flown over the Huddersfield match yesterday...

$tank is the worst owner in all of sports... the sooner he is gone @ Arsenal the sooner Arsenal starts being on top again winning things consistently where they belong. The only fan base of any sports team he owns that currently don't hate him as owner of their team is the LA Rams and that is for obvious reasons.. but I give it 10 years if that and that fan base will grow to dislike him as well which will be hard to do since he was their hero and brought their team back.. but mark my words it will happen.

I sure hope for the clubs sake he sells up sooner rather than later and the supporters of this great club start trying to push him out. He don't care about the club... the supporters... it's history.. or winning at all. all he cares about is making money off the Arsenal brand name.

the sooner that every Arsenal supporter realizes this and make it harder him.. the better. They should start protesting him. I'm sure we will see that this next season if things don't improve.. especially if they hire a manager the fans don't all back from the start.

this Arsenal supporter speaks the truth and he is exactly right about what he said regarding Allegri

The problem is how do you protest Stan in a manner which forces him to even think about acting? The only thing you could do is stop attending matches, and even more, stop purchasing tickets—I don't see that happening.

There have been several very loud and clear ongoing chants and songs when he's been present at games, and it's very clear he doesn't care what any supporters think. If anything, he enjoys the hate.

I don't think Stan cares how much people hate him. Stan's been a topic here over the course of many of the Arsenal faithful here changed to Wenger Out over the past few years. I don't think anyone here is of any illusion that the new manager will magically solve all of Arsenal's problems. Stan doesn't care as long as people buy tickets, and as long as we are a 'self-sustaining' club. Short of getting relegated, the crazy amount of sponsorship/TV money would make it quite difficult to get Stan to sell the club. Were it up to me, I would much rather Stan leave the club than Wenger, that's just not a realistic proposition at all though. Stan's not leaving, it's a fact we're meant to live with.

Not my absolute first choice, but I'm still excited to see it happen. Is it bold and borderline crazy...perhaps, but I think it's also exciting and I want to see what he can do.

Okay, I'm all in for Arteta—bring him on.

Goal understands that former Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta will replace Arsene Wenger as Gunners boss and Pep Guardiola's trusted assistant should prove an excellent choice

Arteta isn't my first choice, but he's not on the "please no" list either.
