Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
Months ago the reports were that he loved it at the club and wanted to make it permanent. So, I don't really know what to believe, but at this point it does seem certain that he wont' be an Arsenal player next season.Last edited by Krebstar; 01-23-2020, 12:35 PM.Comment

Darren Burgess reveals the reasons behind his recruitment and exit from Arsenal, and why they had a fitness problem...
Interesting look at the fitness at the club, why Xhaka was/is a great leader, and a little bit of why fan's perception isn't always reality.Support Local Sports

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
So, out of nowhere, it looks like we might be bringing in left-footed CB Pablo Mari from Flamengo.
With limited details, here’s why I like the sound of this.
He has passing range, plays on the left, he’s only 26, possibly a loan with an option to buy, and it would cost under £10m.
It’s the kind of transfer we need to be doing more of—not the only type, but similar to Guendouzi and Matrinelli.
Plus, us targeting another CB with Saliba joining in the Summer really shows that we plan on moving on some players, such as Mustafi.
How realistic does it look? He was pictured with Edu at an airport in Brazil.Comment

Yeah looks about as “certain” as possible. I know nothing about him, but if our manager is behind him, I am all in too!

Just glad for a win, and glad that we have another week off before the next match followed by a two week break of warm weather training. We're essentially in the longest preseason ever right now—time on the training pitch is welcome before things pick up with the Europa League again.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
Pablo Mari is official—seems like solid business to me. Yes, it's a high loan fee, but better that than him not working out and being able to move him without losing even more money.
Left-footed, can play balls forward, and we desperately need someone who has shown competence in defense, which he seems to be.Comment

First left footed CB since Thomas Vermaelen.

What's everyone think about the Cedric loan? I like it.
I'm interested to see AMN play elsewhere, and it's nice to have depth at fullback. If he plays well for us and fits in, we can sign him for a free in the Summer. We're still in three competitions, so we need players, and fullback is currently a position where we do not have much healthy depth.Comment
