Freddie was on Sky recently and was asked about our poor chance creation, shots, and xG. The first thing he said he noticed was interresting, as it was the first thing everyone noticed during his interim tenure—the speed of play.

He said he'd like to see us move the ball quicker, which is exactly what we did under him, and it was a joy to see. Currently? We're literally back to Emery's U shape slow movement killing our own attacks and momentum before the opposition can.

    It's maddening.

Dundalk or whoever, I love how Eddie presses (and scores).

I really want to see more youth players given a chance. Lacazette looks destined to never have another contract with us, so give Eddie more minutes and hell, give Balogun minutes.

Let ESR have league minutes, as well. If we're going to build for the future, we need to actually build for the damn future.

Add Azeez to the list of kids I want to see getting actual minutes.

Yes, the Azeez mentioned a month ago or so by our very own academy insider.

Not feeling great heading into today's match.

Arsenal currently sit 17th in shots per match (9.1)—we only lead Burnley, Newcastle, and Sheffield United.

As for shots on target per match, we're at 3.1 which is only more than Burnley and Sheffield United.

Goals per match? Ranked 17th (0.9) only above West Brom, Burnley, and Sheffield United.

A good stat? We lead the league in fewest dispossessions per match at 6.6, so there's something, but it's easy to not lose possession when you don't advance the ball.

If we attempt to cross against Burnley we're in for trouble—no other team wins more aerial duels per match (22.8) than Burnley.

There are some really, really interesting defensive Arsenal statistics.

Tied for fewest tackles per match (12) with Villa, ranked 2nd in dribbled past per match (7.2) and we attempt the fewest tackles per match (19.2). We're fouling less than last year, tied 2nd with 10.2 per match.

Only Arsenal and West Ham have yet to concede a goal from a set piece. Last year we conceded 15, most in the league was 17. Year before that we conceded 10, year before that 7.

Funny how for several years we improved on that even though the narritive was that's how you get at us. Only last year were we truly dreadful. Hell, in the 16/17 season we only conceded 6, fewest in the league!

Now only we could get some action on the corners, as they have been dreadful.

I would love to see the boys hang 3 plus on Burnley, but I’m not confident.

Same, I’m assuming we’ll be flat, stand in place occupying zones and waiting for something to happen.

The lineup looks grim, mostly because Xhaka will continuously haunt momentum, pass backward and demand others do the same.

I’m ready for a painful ninety minutes.

Indeed that lineup is not inspiring by any stretch of the imagination.

I don’t care how reactionary it seems.

Arteta has seemingly lost the plot, possibly the dressing room, and is completely out of ideas.

Spare me comments about how he can only do so much with this squad. He’s picking the team each week in the league. Xhaka is on him. Willian is on him. Saliba playing in the reserves is on him. AMN stuck on the bench is on him.

The list goes on and on.

Someone new needs to come in and change the culture in the way we’ve been told Arteta has been doing so.

                            I feel like I was duped—this is a disaster.

                            Play the ****ing kids.

Ian Wright is saying the same. Play Willock, Nelson, AMN, Smith-Rowe, Nketiah. He says Laca, Wllian and Xhaka have to be dropped.

It has been the issue for so long now. “Well, it doesn’t matter who you put in charge, it’s the squad.”

                                Start using the entire squad!
