Boyd had an atrocious game though.

Honestly Mexico is going to obliterate us if we make it to the final playing like that.

They looked great in the first 18 mins. Delay couldn't have happened at a worse time.

Update: we’re not, or at least Pulisic isn’t.

Weston McKinney was like a field general tonight with his passes. He's making me a believer again!

He was so good last night/this morning ha.

His energy, tenacity, and quality is something we've lacked in MF (at the 6 or 8 spots) for a while now. Can't wait to see him and Adams play together, especially considering Adams has even more of a motor.

                  Can't wait for Sunday!

McKennie is the replacement we’ve needed for Jermaine Jones for years, like including the last couple years Jones was playing.

The best part though is that he’s already far more technically gifted than Jones was, and isn’t nearly as much of a walking red card.

Pulisic will always be labeled as our star just because he’s an attacker, but Adams and McKennie are at his level as well. Also imo Adams has the highest ceiling of the three.

Future is definitely pretty bright, let’s just try not to screw it up.

The current backline, like year's past worries me...especially Aaron Long. I applaud his aggressiveness, but he gets burned way too much. Ream and Miazga had to bail him out a few times last night and against Curacao.

That's optimistic. Mexico has been pummeling teams defenses, just unable to finish whereas the US back line has been a leaky flood gate the entire tournament.

BTW, will the US MNT wear a jersey with 4-stars tonight?

Not shocking considering how poor the US has been the second half.

Just our yearly competition with comnebol to see who has the worst refs on the planet.

Hard to tell tbh, between the ref tonight staring at McKennie getting choked out from a foot away and the Copa VAR team actually watching Arthur’s challenge on Otamendi and deciding it’s fine.

Might have to call it a draw again.
