I think Ryder Cup content is coming post launch so the simultaneous play will likely be a WIP before they launch that DLC.

Not that I ever play with no grid, they simply MUST make it possible to totally turn off the grid on the hardest level to satisfy the "legend" level players. Seems simple enough to just be able to toggle it on/off? If not that's going to turn off a lot of the hardcore sim guys.

I agree. Tour should be "no beads" and Sim should be "off". Played many rounds without grids and it's entirely possible and satisfying. And with next gen graphics it should be more plausible than ever. Seems they wimped out with that but I will reserve final judgement after seeing it in motion.
