Removing the player reaction cut scenes in a fast presentation mode is fine, although you can already skip them quickly. I have zero problem with the pace of the game. It wants you to take your time and get to know each course, listen to the commentary, etc. It's not like 2K, which is like speed golf by comparison.

I'm not holding my breath for 60fps on PS5. As it is, you can see some of the things that were cut back on to get this thing where it is now. Texture pop-in, etc.

Very happy to hear putting is going to be improved. Now they also need to address that initial lag with the swing. It doesn't serve a purpose and throws your timing off with the swing meter. Swinging and putting get fixed then perhaps I can take the time to admire the presentation and graphical beauty of the game (which it has).

i hope they fix the menu sound thing i all ways put the sound low but it still full all the time. maybe on career mode 2 round options would be good thing.

False.

When new versions come, online support ends far later on older versions.

It is more about being able to control the user experience as well as being able to analyze play data to see trends and utilize this to guide the development of future enhancements.

Nice improvements….the one I really want to see is removing the maximum strokes allowed per hole or at least allow us to set the amount, including not limited at all.

I agree and EA has definitely heard that gamers do like to take their lumps on the course. They are also not wrong in seeing casuals just want to have fun and anything worse than a triple bogey isn't.

I am very hopeful they will add an option to allow worse scores but realize if the game wasnt designed for a double digit hole (think scorecards and commentary) that there may be limit on how much the game will allow.

7 x 18 holes is about the score I shoot in real life so I'm okay with it.

I've got the grid off and I use the elevation marker to scan for elevation changes. It's tough but super fun that way.

More than 50% of the time? I am seeing maybe 3-5% in my time with it...which is way more than acceptable at the number. 50%+ I think people would be rioting and certainly not posting the low round we are seeing. I do see it show up more on some courses than others...Banff may be the worst of them all.
