Everybody's Golf was my most-played PS4 game.

This will be a definite pre-order for me.

Yeah, its look doesn't really seem to be evolved from the previous iteration, at least not in the trailer.

Even still, this might easily be a day two purchase for me, and my first new video game buy in years. I need to read reviews and impressions before dipping in though given the new developer.

Funnily enough, not just two months ago I made a post in the PS4 game's thread about wishing for a new version of this, having researched right before and seeing no news about one. Glad to see this snuck up on us.

It looks like we're seeing Nintendo Switch screen shots to me. I can't imagine this game looking that washed out on a PS5..

I am still extremely bitter about Sony taking down the servers for Everybody's Golf.
I'll get this for Switch.

nice. I loved Everybodys golf and still the only golf game I play.
I hope the new version has a disc golf option as well. that would be amazing.

So great seeing such a legendary PlayStation series return to consoles. Huge fan of the Hot Shots games. It's really a shame they shut down the Everybody's Golf (PS4) servers though. That was one of my go-to games on the system and was so fun. Looking forward to this, though.

This is available now. People have been praising the title as keeping the Hot Shots spirit, despite the developer change.

I only played for about 10 minutes, so take my early impression with a big grain of salt. I also didn't really like the look. I'm not sure that an 8-year old game on the PS4 doesn't look better, which is pretty sad. The controls were changed up and I had to keep going to check them. You don't create a custom character like the last game, you have to select one of the standard characters - and there's only two right off the bat. They have really annoying sound bites that get said over and over and over again. It's really annoying. It just didn't feel polished to me like the PS4 one did. Of course, I loved that one.
