Tiger Woods 07 Question (PC)
I've read on a couple forums that 07 didn't come with a career editor. However, I've also read I can use the 06 career editor if I have 06 and transfer that over to 07. Anyone know exactly how to do this?

The 06 career editor does NOT work in TW2007. Sorry.I've read on a couple forums that 07 didn't come with a career editor. However, I've also read I can use the 06 career editor if I have 06 and transfer that over to 07. Anyone know exactly how to do this?

Re: Tiger Woods 07 Question (PC)
I actually decided to ditch this idea and join the Clambakers Tour. Anyone here a member?
Here is the instructions I got from the user who said using the 06 career editor works, if anyone else is interested...
I'm assuming you have TW06 installed, and the career editor in the TW06\Bin directory
Here is what I did to make my custom season work with TW07:
- First I installed all the courses that I intend to use for my season with the 06 Course Utilities. I didn't installed the required libraries, just the courses.
- Created my custom season (double check that you didn't make any mistakes)
- When a season is created, it creates a file called PGAUser.gcf. It places this file in your \My Documents\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 06\Career\GCFS folder
- Next, copy this file (PGAUser.gcf) to your \My Documents\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 07\Career\GCFS folder.
- In TW07, create a new golfer. Create him as a Pro. It should ask you if you would like to use the custom season detected. Click Yes.Comment

Good tips from the Clam guys - they're always helpful. I've been a member there for about 2 years and have tried my best to spread the news to fellow TW PC players. The guys on the tour are pretty cool and the new launcher they have is even better than before.
Welcome to the league, how are you fairing so far in the tournaments? I've struggled as of late - but am looking forward to the difficult Colbert Hills.Comment

Re: Tiger Woods 07 Question (PC)
I just signed up so will be doing Q School this week. I'm not very good though. I recently switched from 3-click to Trueswing so will be joining as an Intermediate Trueswing player.
I played a bunch of practice rounds at Sawgrass last night and my best score was 77. I shot a 104 on my 1st round.
My username is Andrew over there.Comment

Sounds good man, get Q-School done so you can play in this week's tourney. If you have any questions feel free to pm me on there or on here. My SN there is the same as here.
I'm also made the switch from truswing to 3-click at the end of the year last year, and haven't looked back. Since I was playing truswing Advanced, I decided to challenge myself and play 3-click Expert, and it's safe to say every single round is a challenge and whole lot of fun.Comment

Re: Tiger Woods 07 Question (PC)
It's a freakin blast. It's an "offline" tournament. They have a utility that records your scores so you can play a tournament for each week anytime between Wednesday and Sunday. You also get to play at custom courses, since you're not using the in game PGA tour. So the Masters was at Augusta, etc.
You can also play at whatever level you like and with whatever swing type. They have a handicap system that keeps players on a level playing field.
I suck at Tiger 07, but it's a lot of fun playing in these tournaments.Comment
