Just yesterday I found a putter lying around. Sure enough it belonged to someone who was in the group in front of us. Seriously....how the hell do you forget your putter???

Get frustrated trying to get up and down? I know I've had days where I've approached into the green side bunker and after 4 hacks just picked up out of frustration... I don't forget my putter, ever, but I could see how it's possible.

Considering that is the last club you usually use on every hole that would be kinda hard to forget.

I have left wedges laying around before, but never my putter....I don't even know how that's possible.

I did it once. I was about 20 yards in front of the green and took my wedge and putter. Chipped it to within inches and my dad picked picked up my ball. I left my putter near where I hit it from and forgot about it when I went back to the cart. The good thing about forgetting your putter is that you know immediately on the next hole that it's missing.

Re: The OS Golfer's Thread!

I had worked at a golf course for about 4 years now and see on average 1 club lost a day and only about 20% of them get returned. That and headcovers
