Online Tournament Question

This is my first TW game and was wondering if it is normal to see the online tournament leaderboards at -25 for first place.

If so, then I guess I will stay away from online :

They are if you are playing one of the easier difficulties. Go play Tournament difficulty and you won't be seeing -25 in a single round. There are a lot of good players out there and Live Tournaments attract extremely challenging competition.
