The Golf Club OS Community Courses

Since the game is out now, we need a place to show off our OS creations. With pictures, videos, and details of each hole!

I will update the OP with names of OS courses and creators as the posts accumulate.

Please feel free to post pictures and videos of your course finished or WIP.. I think it would be ideal to keep it one course PER post. So edit as necessary. Unless you guys think just posting updates would be best! Either way, I will have the list and have the following:

WIP - Work in Progress - Not Yet Released
PUB - Finished and Published - Ready for Play
BETA - Published but still needs work

    Operation Sports Community Course List

The Great Links by TheBleedingRed21 - BETA
Glacier CC by FifaBing - PUB
The Highlands by jaa1980 - WIP

I asked this in another thread, with no answer. How do I search and DL other user created courses? Is that even possible?

Select PLAY then you go to "MORE", this brings up the GUI for all courses, where you can search by course name.

          Course Name TBD

Have not started, just finished the basic layout, will adjust as I go on. Each hole will be manually placed and finished. Will take quite a while to get out but I like the look I have so far. Going for that kind of old links area golf course.

I am working on one now. I have 6 holes finished, creating from scratch. The course designer is really good. I love the creativity and freedom that you get.

Does anyone know if after you publish a course, can you go back and edit it and re-publish it with your edits?

Guys, this is not a question and answer thread.. It is for showing courses.. There are plenty other threads to ask your questions.. Please.

I should have a course to show off soon. Spent about 6 hours on it so far.

                      The Great Links BETA

This is a course that has been around for years. It is known to be quite simple, but offer a fair challenge. The front 9 starts off laid back and increases the difficulty on the back 9. With ships out at sea, marine life all around, this is a great place to relax and play a round of golf.

My course is a Links style course set in Scottish Highlands, Name is " TBD" as of now. With only a lake that the first 3 holes surround, the rest of the course uses elevations and hazards to challenge play. This will be a championship length course of 7000+ yards. Currently a par 72, but will see how it goes in creation. I sculpted the land first, then I am creating the course hole by hole, currently through 5th. I want it to be challenging but realistic, so awarded for good shots and placement. This is also essential with the very large greens and deep bunkers. You might spot some local wildlife along the course (Bucks, Sheep, etc). Looks and feels environmentally like Scottish highlands, very sparse on vertical vegetation such as trees, besides around clubhouse and hotel. If you do see trees it will be hopefully ones that are of local flavor. Of course the their is Rock as well spread throughout the highlands, not sure if some of these will turn into possible obstructions or hazards.

I am doing this fictional course first, goal is a hole or two a day, then maybe a day or two for the surrounding environment. So hopefully done by next weekend. We shall see. With work and Madden coming out Tuesday, might delay. Plus i would actually like to play, haha.

                            Glacier CC

Search by author either FifaBing, or by course name, Glacier CC.

My first attempt at creating a course. I did not create this course from complete scratch, hole by hole. I was actually planning on it but when I first started the Course Creator it just laid out my 18 holes and I said, "screw it." Good way to get my feet wet, accustomed to what I can do, and I'll do one from scratch on my next course.

I'll add pictures soon once I take some screenshots (What's the easiest way to do that on the XB1, btw?). but for now, Glacier CC is available to try.

Featuring 18 beautiful holes, some easy, some not so easy. Built in the hills in beautiful Glacier National Park, MT, people from all over the world fly into this very sought after course. Admire the amazing scenery, awesome (but dangerous---beware of bears on hole 1) wildlife, and inviting water as you spend you leisure playing a round of golf on this brand new world renowned course.

Accessible by car or helicopter, make sure to get an early tee time to take in the sunrise, and stay after your round is complete and have dinner in any of our clubhouses surrounding the course to see the sunset.

Enjoy, and welcome to God's country...Glacier CC.
