Re: TGC: PS4 or XBOne?
I own all three versions. My time goes 60% PC, 30% PS4, and 10% XB1. IMO, there's no contest between the PS4 and XB1 versions. The PS4 runs at 1080p, versus 900p on the XB1, has quality draw distance that's about twice as long as the XB1 version. It also runs at about 10% faster frame rates than the XB1, on average. The XB1 version still plays okay, and it probably the easiest of the three versions to get 100% power out of the swing.
The PS4 version is at a bit of a disadvantage right now because of the current tuning of the swing interface. It's hard to consistently hit 100% and it's not because of something I'm doing with the controller. Like I said, I play all three versions and the PS4 clearly requires a more precise, snappy controller action to attain 100%. I'm confident they'll have the three versions balanced again after the next update, and the PS4 will go back to feeling more like it did before.
