Haha - I won't get into specifics, but with the amount that Pebble wanted to charge us for using its course on a yearly contractual basis - it wasn't feasible to sustain. Never had contact with Spyglass myself(personally) so I have no idea what their fee is.

Looks like a pass for me then. If you could download all the courses once and then play without the need for a connection each time you want to play then I'd buy. Such a shame.

Hi everyone, new to this experience so please be gentle. I am a die hard Tiger Woods Golf franchise fan, and also like many saw much potential with Rory PGA Tour that sadly didnt work out .. However, I am excited about The Golf Club 2019 - well, also because I love golf and looks like nothing else out there now.

This is going to seem like a really silly question, but one to ask regardless. I have 3 mates and we hang out once a week and play together .. single or in teams (in offline mode). Round of Stroke play, better ball or skins (ie on Rory PGA Tour)

Does The Golf Club have that functionality to play offline and have 4 of us hook up and pick a course and hit the fairways?

Do we get to pick any courses ... even community created ones? or just pre-loaded ones

I appreciate it and again have NEVER even touched this game so your advice will help a lot.
