Best TW game last gen?

what is the best one standard edition?

I had a lot of fun with 12 i remember. 14 also. I think I skipped 13.

What is the consensus? I still have my 360 and looking to buy one of the old tw games.

Yep, same here! I liked the fact that you could use the club tuner, to set the sweetspot of your woods, irons, and wedges to different degrees, making in effect a "slider" type difficulty adjustment. My career mode play was so configurable that I was able to get - for the last time in any golf game I've ever played - season play which felt believable. I also loved the "non distance aided", meterless, precision putting interface of TW 10. They have yet to be upstaged in the presentation of the putting with the 180 degree, low reverse angle cut views on putts of less than 10 feet. I still play it to this day on my Falcon edition XBox 360!

If TW 2010 had offered a "True Aim" camera view that was on par with that of Tiger Woods 13, yet still provided that exquisite low angle reverse angle camera putting view, I'd probably still be playing it exclusively to this day!

So my local GameStop has 12 13 and 14.

14 is $25!!

Between 12/13/14 which to go with?

For me it would be TW 13. It had the absolute best True Aim camera presentation of them all. Tiger 14 seems to be heralded as the favorite among many nostalgic fans, but the fact that its True Aim camera presentation was totally not functional - even though it lists True Aim in its presentation options to this day - killed it for me. It's "Presentation" camera option was mostly broken, switching to camera views that didn't even show the green, let alone the ball. It's follow cam presentation worked okay, but if you're one of those rare breeds like me who doesn't see the merit in follow cam, you're left without a viable presentation option in 14.

Because of the broken alternative presentation options in 14, it would be my last choice of the three you've listed, but if you're okay with the follow cam presentation concept, 14 might well be the best overall game of the three.

Thanks for the breakdown on these guys - I am looking to purchase a 'Last-Gen' copy as well, ideally with a deep career mode and solid course selection. I'll probably make the choice between 13 and 14.

If you want to play online, TW14. The server is still running and you can play multiplayer.
