    TGC19 - Best Courses

Not sure if there's already a thread for this but I didn't see one. I've been really lacking in the amount of time I've played TGC19 and now that golf season is finally arriving and with the announcement of 2k21, I've got the itch to get back into it. Does anyone have any recommended user created courses, or course designers? The only one I've seen so far is "Firethorn National". Any other well done user courses worth putting into the regular rotation?

It's really hard to list all the great courses available in TGC 2019. There are many available, like the Firethorn National you mentioned, which is a near-perfect replica of Augusta.

I usually look here for the newest courses that designers come up with: https://tgctours.proboards.com/board...pleted-courses

These forums are where the designers whose courses get used for TGC Tours announce their newest designs. All of them are pretty great.

If you like real course recreations, check out courses with "Lidar" in the name or descriptions. These courses were made using actual laser measurements to get realistic distances and topographic layouts. Some of these are spectacular.

There are a ton of courses in the game by the users. *Almost* any top, famous course is there and then a whole lot more. I’ll list below some of my favorites (with an * by those that are really good). And, even this is not even close to an exhaustive list. Usually, there are many versions of each of these courses. Look for the ones that are handicap-rated and have the most plays and best ratings. Like the previous poster stated, if Lidar or L is listed with a course, then that is *usually* a good sign. I pretty much stick to real courses. If you’re looking for fantasy courses, I can’t help with that.

I just wanted to piggyback on this...someone recently published a LiDAR version of Austin CC, titled "Austin Country Club (L)". It's probably the best LiDAR course I have played on TGC 2019.

Thanks. I’ll look for that one.

There are new versions and new courses coming on all the time. There is a relatively new “Cypress Point Monterey Lidar” that is really well done, too. Pine Valley has newer Lidar, too.

Wow, great list there. I've just been playing for a couple weeks, and the amount of user created courses is great. Of course, if you allow people to build it, they most certainly will.

Arrrgghhhh... I wish I had consulted you before I booked my Society's weekly tournament at the older, 25,000+ play version of Harbour Town that we've already played twice over the last two years. It's a good one, but I saw the GL 2020 version and was tempted to go with it. It's rated 4 1/2 stars with over 2,000 plays, and that's usually a pretty good indicator. I could kick myself for not at least playing a few holes at Harbour Town GL 2020 before deciding... truth is I was just too lazy to do it

Next week’s PGA tournament also has a pretty good RCR:
