I think the problem they had there is that the way the factor in the tempo component in the swing. It's a counter-intuitive model to think that the only component of the swing that affects hook or slice is your backswing to downswing ratio, and/or transition. Most people think - and rightly so - that swing path, as in outside in or inside out is what causes hook or slice... not in this game, swing path only affects push or pull.

You have to read and understand the explanation of how this counter-intuitive model works, and most people aren't going to take the time to do it. Even when you do understand it, it's hard to make your rational thinking brain to set aside our understanding of terrestrial physics, and put this alternative model into practice.

People picking up the game for free are the least likely to go to the trouble to learn and understand that alternative swing mechanic. That said though... I did pick up a half dozen new friends whom I'd met by playing public matchmaking during that period. I coached all of them through the process TGC 2019's tempo mechanic uses and they finally got it. They were all operating under the assumption that swing path affected hook/slice until I told them otherwise.

Based on the insertion of the words "Sounds" and "listen" in the teaser, I'd say we're going to get a feature on the audio. Maybe they'll have a montage of commentary from Beem and Elvy, and hopefully, some sounds of the club making impact with the ball using something other than a studio condenser microphone!

I'll bet one of the unintended results of this feature will be more video evidence that the featured pros are going to appear in video highlight, cut-scenes only.
