Ok so the last area that i need to really figure out is my longer approach iron shots and how the wind affects them.
Lets say wind is in my face 10mph, im 180 yards out. I push the view button to see where my landing area is... question 1) is that landing area already accounting for the wind effect? Or do i need to go up a club to aim past the hole enough so that the wind then brings me back to the hole distance?
I typically will over club in this situation, also add backspin and almost all the time end up long on the hole. Easy compensation.... dont club up right?
The opposite thing happens though it seems when wind is behind me. Same scenario 10mph wind behind me. 180yds... i should club down 1 or 2 clubs depending on my ball striking options. When i do that. I tend to come up short or sometimes go long...
Struggling to find a consistent formula to adjust shot length. Similarly when adjusting for altitude change, i can see that the yardage in the upper right corner will have a +7yds on it, does my shot marker already have that accounted for?
