Has PGA Tour 2k21 started to have a swing glitch for anyone recently? Especially after the last update?

I was lucky enough to score a Series X this week and the game was fine on it for the first few days but now after the update it doesn't seem to work properly.

Probably two or three times a round now my swing will glitch and cause the meter to hesitate or rocket back fast causing a horrible swing


Just wondering if its happening to anyone else

I play on PS4, but from what I've read, the Xbox systems, especially the XBox Series X, are having glitches with the swing.

TGC Tours, which is a huge society for this game, has basically said, "Play on an XBox Series X at your own risk" when playing event rounds, as they aren't adjusting anyone's scores due to XBSX glitches. Sounds like there are just too many people experiencing issues.

It doesn't have the swing glitch animation on my XBox One X. All indications are that the swing animation glitches are exclusive to the Series X and S. They occur at seemingly random intervals however, so I imagine that's making it harder to trace.

I suspect that the problem may be with Microsoft's XBox One emulator that the Series S and X are using, since the problem on occurs on the Series X and S. If that's the case, a fix may be longer in the offing, I would imagine. This wouldn't necessarily be a big ticket item for Microsoft.

Yea I just played a round on lunch. Perks of working from home I guess. It glitched on me twice. Once off the tee box and once on the green from very close to the pin. Doesn't seem to happen off the fairway for some reason

This has now been fixed incase anyone was wondering with the last patch
