PGA Tour 2K21 is Free For PlayStation Plus Subscribers Starting October 5

Yeah, I will say that one thing PGA 2K21 seems to get close to right is the difficulty of the swing. It's actually hard to hit a dead-center straight shot, which it absolutely should be since that's the primary challenge in golf.

I have some issues with how the swing mechanism translates into on-screen shots, but in general, I like that it's far from certain on any given swing that you'll hit a good shot.

That really only applies if you play Master or Legend anything else is much too easy.

That may well be true, but for right now, I'm having trouble consistently hitting good shots on Pro. But I do look forward to moving the difficulty up as I improve.
