EA Sports PGA TOUR Delayed

Little extra time to develop is good thing, but i still dont have very high hopes.

Lets hope its even basic "EA quality", gameplay is fine and also many issues on product.

It is sad. What do you think is the real reason for the delay and postponement? Although if that's what it takes for a better game, I think I can wait a little longer.

It's all about the chip shortage and the inability of enough customers to get their hands on a new generation console. Instead of having a commercial failure, they're delaying the game. Either that or they will rebuilt the game so it can also work with the PS4/XBox One like PGA 2K21.

Doubt that is the reason, plenty of us out here that have PS5, Xbox X.

Define plenty. An ordinary customer still can't go to a store and buy a PS5 or XBox X at Best Buy or Walmart. Sony is planning to have built less than 15 millions by end of March. Worldwide, that's peanuts and bots are buying just about everything right now. I doubt I'll have a PS5 by end of 2022.

Not enough to make the sales numbers they will need with this release. They need every single person who wants this game to have next gen in their hands.

Not just, "plenty of us on Operation Sports have them."

I don't foresee it being released until people can go into a store and buy one on demand rather than having to hunt and search for one.

13.4 million PS5s and 8 million Xs sold worldwide, yep that seems like plenty to me.
