My goaltending was been akin to that of the Wings, and so is the defense for that matter (except Ottawa's isn't supposed to be amazing). Our offense will probably get us to at least the conference finals, and then we have to have Elliot of the defense play top notch.

Spezza Breaks Out Of Slump With Hat Trick

Spezza is back in buisness.

Highlights v. Atlanta
1. Spezza scores his first goal on a blistering slap shot.
2. Foligno scores a one-timer off of Zetterberg.
3. Meszaros scores off a rebound from Hedjuk.
4. Spezza scores a powerplay goal.
5. With 1 minute remaining, Spezza shoots through a screen to complete the hat trick.

GM's Thoughts: I played an extra game tonight to get us to an even 8 games left, or 4-ish days till the playoffs. Everything clicked tonight, the offense, the defense and Auld. He has been playing great recently, if Elliot plays bad tomorrow to end March, there may very well be a goalie controversy again (I feel like Florida now).

GM's Thoughts: 2 goals in 2 games; Elliot is playing better. Although this may be due to the fact we are playing against bottom dwellers, but still. I think Kolzig has our number, we can't seem to score much on Tampa. Either way, we played well, and are heating up with 6 games left.
