Re: Rising From The Ashes: A Phoenix Coyotes Dynasty (EHM 07)

GM's Thoughts: What am I playing, head coach? Here is my new list of injuries:

D. Sedin: 2 months
O. Nolan: 2 months (surgery)
H. Sedin: 2 weeks
O. Saprykin: 1 week
Jovo/Mink: Day to Day

This is ridiculous. We still cannot stay out of the box either. I'm going to have to mess with our strategies (any ideas would be appreciated). The loss to the Kings was due to penalties, and the loss to the Stars was injuries and bad defense. I feel the Isles pain now...

2 problems with this.
A. I traded my 1st as part of the Sedin deal.
B. This is from 2007. It would be Patrick Kane I would be drafting
P.S. 400

Re: Rising From The Ashes: A Phoenix Coyotes Dynasty (EHM 07)

Week 10 (part 2)
Westcott, Malhotra, Sjostrom and later Manych were called up.
Coyotes versus Blackhawks

Game Summary
2:20- Sjostrom, Malhotra and Roenick assisting
7:45- Langenbrunner, Semin and Weber assisting (PPG)
36:25- Bochenshi, Salmelainen and Smolinski assisting
42:49- Roenick, Sjostrom and Ehrhoff assisting

Final Score: 3-1
Shots: 37-22 Chicago
Hits: 10 All
Interesting Fact: Semin was injured this game for about 10 days.

Coyotes versus Stars

Game Summary
1:44- Barnaby, Hagman and White assisting
4:02- Lindros, Stefen and Modano assisting (PPG)
27:27- Manych, Ricci and Doan assisting
33:36- Langenbrunner, Nagy and Doan assisting
36:08- Ballard, Weber assisting
43:45- Guerin, Langenbrunner assisting (PPG)
46:49- Nagy, Langenbrunner and Doan assisting

Final Score: 5-2
Shots: 36-52 Stars
Hits: 15-5 Coyotes
Interesting Fact: Morris was suspended for the games on the second part of the week.

GM's Thoughts: Biron bailed us out those two games. He is playing great. I have full confidence in him. Langenbrunner picked up the slack in a major way too. Jovo and Morris will be back next week, so our defense will be in top form. Sedin and Semin will be back in one week and Nolan and Sedin will be back in a month. At that point, I will probably trade somebody cause I will be over the cap.

GM's Thoughts: Well, we are in a pretty good position. I would like to be the third seed going into the playoffs, if I had a choice (well actually I would be 1st, but that is a bit unreasonable), with 2/3 of the season to go. The Wings' record is great cause they play in a bum division (this is 06-07 remember). The other two divisions are equal though; each with 4 teams in the top 9. In the east, the Flyers are as good as their standing shows. The caps' play in a bum division and made some good offseason moves (Drury and Moginly). The Sabres are good like the year before, and the Sens are good cause they are supposed to face Anaheim in the finals this year. Go 'Yotes!
