GM's Thoughts: This week was mediocre. We went 2-2, but almost went 1-2-1 if it wasn't for Biron and Semin. The Capitals are the best team in the east and we took to many penalties. Carolina demoralized us with 2 goals in 5 minutes and Ward proceeded to shut us down. We beat the pants off the Thrashers and pulled it out over Chicago. These next weeks will be interesting, because of the upcoming cap issues when the guys get off the IR.

GM's Thoughts: Ugh, 1-2 is not that great of a week. D. Sedin will be back for next week, but Bill Guerin is out for 3 months. Hopefully he'll be back for the playoffs. Nolan should be getting ready soon. The Stars game was close, we got butchered by the Wings and won again against the Sharks. We'll see what happens, I have some interesting trade ideas to bring down the penalties.

GM's Thoughts: 4 really close games... 3 losses. As I said in an above post, the team is inconstant and takes too many penalties. Laraque and Laperriere may be traded due to this. (The Sharks games were the closest, we didn't take that many penalties in that one anyway).

GM's Thoughts: This is a pretty good week, 2 games and three points, no injuries, we traded Laraque for Marshall, which is an upgrade and we're paying less. We had a close one with the Ave's, and demolished the Pen's. Again, if we keep the penalties down, our experience is too great for most teams to match. Plus Biron is a beast, even when facing 50+ shots and over 8 powerplays a game. His save % is like .925 or something, although his GAA is around 3.
