I did not care about the coaches "advice" or whatever it was they did when I left. I just left to the locker room and angrily took of my pads and walked out of that crappy arena.
Now you see, I did not travel down to the RBC Arena for this tryout. They were holding open-ice practices by where I live.

As I was walking out of the arena one of the players I recognized from the ice, Ernie Volpe, approached me.
"Man don't worry about Mitchell he's a great goalie but he is always up to stuff like this." Ernie said.
I just gave him a death stare as I figured he was up to something and because he had something in his eye.
"Yea,whatever,thanks" I said after evaluating this "Ernie Volpe guy" for a couple minutes.

He told me that he would be playing on the 'Canes this year and so would Mitchell Schneider but he wished me the best and walked toward his neighborhood, which I realized was very close to mine. Maybe we could be friends, Who knows? But I know I have more impotent things to take care of at the moment.


My Dad hates me. I was at dinner with my family and I told him that when I get drafted I will continue to wear his "#33"but decided I would be playing under the last name of Carey, which is my Mom's last name.
He went on and on about how I will be a disgrace to the NHL and how there is no way I will not be playing under the greatest name in NHL's goalie history.

Well things seem to be going great.

excuse moi?? you are talking about the greatest goaltender of all time (besides me, lol)!!!

anyways, interesting ideas here. i still think your guy should be named "jonathan" because that's the real name of his son...

whatever, i only know of jonathan. all i was trying to say was that he should name his dude after one of patty roy's real sons. imo, that would be hilarious.

if he is going to do jonathan, though, he HAS to have every game he plays in include a goalie fight!!! there's no such thing as jonathan roy without a fight, haha.
