Captain Crosby To the Rescue

Sidney Crosby put home the shootout winner against Ottawa for the first game in the season.

Sidney Crosby was the hero is Stockholm, Sweden in today's game while he scored the game-winner straight over the blocker of Senators goaltender Pascal Leclaire. Chris Kunitz and Evgeni Malkin both scored of the Penguins while Jarkko Ruutu, the former Penguin, and Jason Spezza scored for the Ottawa Senators. Senators left-winger Dany Heatley will miss the next 43 days after a crushing his along the boards by Penguins defensemen Sergei Gonchar. The Pittsburgh Penguins will meet the Ottawa Senators tommorow afternoon for the final game in Stockholm, Sweden before returning to Pittsburgh against the New Jersey Devils.

jagr may have been a beast but he was the worst thing that happened to the rangers since mike dunham strapped on the pads wearing a blueshirts jersey. he's a horrible team member, and is quite the douchebag.

i'd compare his need for attention and horrible team skills to guys like jarkko ruutu and sean avery, but those two are actually good teammates, whereas jagr's just a plain buttwipe.
