It does sound quite weird, and even weirder, I agree with you.

the good news is that NHL 09 doesn't reflect his injury-prone-ness, and only his amazing talent.

the bad news is that because you just insulted one of my favorite non ranger players, im going to have to kill you.

finally, i have a reason!!

Ouch, that burns. But, I think there should be much, much more injuries in NHL 10. And seeing as though they are increasing the physical features, it seems my wish has come true.

i agree, especially with the new patch that came out last month or whatever. you can't seem to get any injuries, at least not to your players.

i'd also like to see goalie injuries IN GAME. it would suck watching your hot goalie pull his groing, but ive never seen a goalie get injured in a video game, and im so curious as to what the cutscene would be like.

anyways, thrashman, great stuff like usual. i cant wait for the trades to start pumping, and the wild to go...well....wild.

get ready to rock the twin cities.

I guess the cutscene would look like the trainers helping the goalie off the ice like last year when Fleury sprained his ankle.

Or when Luo pulled his groin.

WILD RECORD THROUGH 5 GAMES: 5-0-0 (7TH IN WEST)

--------------------------------------------------------------

SHEPPARD AND BOUCHARD LEADING THE WAY
A major reason Minnesota is off to a great start is because of the chemistry between James Sheppard and Pierre-Marc Bouchard on the Wild's second line. The sophomore Sheppard has a team high 5 goals, including 2 game winners, and 3 assists so far and Bouchard has 3 goals and 5 assists. Their 8 points each are double that of anyone else on the Wild with Marian Gaborik and Antti Miettinen being tied for second with 4 points each in five games.

BACK STOP
With a fresh new deal paying him $6 million a season, goaltender Niklas Backstrom hasn't eased up in his play but has instead shown why he commanded so much money. Backstrom is a perfect 5-0 with a scant 1.21 goals against average, a .961 save percentage, and 1 shutout. The Finnish netminder has only allowed 6 goals on 153 shots against and has held the opposition to 1 goal or less in four of the Wild's first five games.
