The New Path in the North: A Minnesota Wild Dynasty (NHL 09)


The Minnesota Wild have fired General Manager Doug Risebrough and Head Coach Jacques Lemaire after another failed playoff run which saw the team lose to the division rival Colorado Avalanche in the conference quarterfinals.

Aside from the cinderella season of 2002-2003 where the Wild got to the Western Conference Finals, the team has either missed the playoffs or lost in the first round every season since NHL hockey returned to the state.

Now Alex Clark steps in wearing both the general manager and head coach hats and looking to breathe some new life into a team and fan base ready for success and exciting hockey.

YEEEEESSS!! I LOVE the minnesota wild!!

it's about damn time somebody made a good wild dynasty! sickest jerseys in the NHL, imo, and supposedly one of the best arenas and greatest crowds.

great, young fast players, with an incredible goalie--hes vastly underrated in this game, IMO.

are you going to trade for some of the offensive firepower you lost in demitra and rolston?

good luck with this one, i can't wait for it to start!
