Mueller hurts foot, expected to be out 1-2 weeks

Peter Mueller will miss 1-2 weeks with a sore foot resulting from an injury sustained early in the 3rd period in a 3-1 loss against Minnesota. Kyle Turris may get a call up from San Antonio to take his place in the lineup, but nothing has been announced yet.

"Jovo [Ed Jovonovski] took a slap shot from the point and I guess I was just in the wrong spot at the wrong time. Hopefully I can get back on the ice when the swelling goes down. I'm just glad nothing was broken."

Coyotes claim Marc-Antoine Pouliot off waivers

The Phoenix Coyotes added 23 year old forward Marc-Antoine Pouliot to the San Antonio roster today after claiming him off of waivers from the Edmonton Oilers.

"It's never fun when you have to leave your teammates, but hopefully I can make the best of this and move on to better things in my career."

Hanzal breaks foot, out 1-2 months

The season struggles continued for Martin Hanzal, as he went awkwardly into the end boards after missing the net on a shot in the first period, breaking his foot in the process.

"This season hasn't been good to me so far, so this will give me some time to get my head on right. Muller will be back next game, so I know someone good will be holding my roster spot until I get back."
