Same thing happened to my NHL 08, What happens is when the xbox moves while it is on and has a disk in it, For some weird reason it scratches the disk and breaks it, so you might need a new NHL09.

Yup, I should be getting a new one soon, if I can find the damn receipt, if not, might as well close this down and wait for NHL 10 unless my parents are nice and buys me a new one.

Blazers Acquire Legendary Goaltender

The Winnipeg Blazers have hit the jackpot this year, acquiring legendary goaltender Martin Brodeur as their first unrestricted free agent.

Brodeur, 41, has finally after about 20 seasons in New Jersey with the Devils has signed with the Blazers after it was announced by the Blazers General Manager Wayne Gretzky.

"I just thought if I was going to finish off my career, which should be any year now, I should finish it off with a bang. Though I will defiently miss New Jersey, I feel as though it's great to move around and I'm happy to play in such a hockey-hyped place" said Brodeur.

There was speculation from most of the hockey pros that Brodeur would retire at seasons end, but Brodeur feels that he stills has some punch left in him.

"I may be nearing the end of my career but I know for a fact that I'm no where near ready to retire, I've got some saves left in these wrists" he said.
