I hope the flyer give away some good talent and draft picks for a 87 year old goon who will retire 2 months into the season. Oh, wait, that alreaddy happened!

Anyways, I really like this dynasty, rocknrolla, exept it does not have much updates.

If you think that the updates may be too much for you, town them down a bit or maybe do a "5 game update". To me, a great formatted dynasty is great but I would rather see a dynasty thats constantly updated but not overdone.

Re: The Pittsburgh Penguins - Season 2005-06 (NHL 2K6)

Thank you!

On a different note...

I apoligize for the delay in updates and games, I've been quite busy with different resposiblities and other projects i've been involved with. As I'm sure some of you have experienced in the past that not everything can stay to scheduel. But again, I apoligize for the delay, and I hope you keep enjoying my time and effort into an entertaining 05-06 NHL Season like I have been.

I will not submit Leaderboards until after every two weeks of games. If this is an inconvience to anyone, I'm sorry, but the fact of the matter is that this is the way I feel like doing it, and is most appropriate for my needs. I should have the next game up either tonight, or tommorow.

And if you already haven't, I advise you check out gibbey9's Pittsburgh Penguins Dynasty. His entertaining game summaries keeps you in the game, and his classic Penguin's Powerplay segment reflecting the team's progress in the season. You can find this Dynasty at:
The Pittsburgh Penguins(NHL 09)

Thank you for all your support and time here with me, and I hope I can keep an entertaining season going for you folks.

See you on the ice!

Re: The Pittsburgh Penguins - Season 2005-06 (NHL 2K6)

PITTSBURGH @ BUFFALO
PENGUINS SABRES

Monday, October 10th, 2005
8:00pm

AWAY

PERIOD ONE:
Both of these teams are undefeated going into this match, and both are on the top of the charts. When Huesson was questioned before the game, he stated that there is no use to just knock these guys down; they'll hit you back!

BUF: M. Satan, GOAL, (Assist: J. Dumont)
PIT: A. Morozov, GOAL, (Unassisted)

PERIOD TWO:
As the game enters the second period, the two star teams are neck and neck. In this period, only a single Icing call was made, and not much else.

UNEVENTFUL

PERIOD THREE:
Wise words were said from Kyle Huesson before the game, but apperently a few Penguins did not hear the advice. The number one spot on the Team Leaderboards at stake with this match.

BUF: T. Connolly, GOAL, (Assist: A. Kotalk)
PIT: T. Surovy, 2:00, Cross Checking (Minor)
PIT: J. Melichar, 2:00, Cross Checking (Minor)

RESULTS:
PITTSBURGH:
4 Penalty Minutes
BUFFALO:
0 Penalty Minutes

PENGUINS: SABRES:
1 - 2

*The Star Of The Game*
Tim Connolly

Both teams played extremely well, but Buffalo snuck one in the net third period. The Penguins' first deafeat, have now dropped them from the lead. When questioned, the Manager/Head coach Kyle Huesson said this:
'It's dissappointing, but all in all, I have no confrentation with Buffalo, we played the game, and we lost. Plain and simple'

His mellowed attitude maybe the support Pittsburgh needs after their first loss. Melichar was not as calm about the call made by the ref, the loss, or the unpenilized hits back from the Sabres. He commented:
'I can't wait til' we face those NHL-Wannabes again. I hope they like the taste of ice and blood!'
We understand that tensions get extremely high with the referee's calls, but that's their job. Whether a mistake was made or not, the Penguins will be playing again later on this week.

Until then.....
We'll keep you posted!
