Pascal Dupis and Nikalas Kronwall are part of the Islanders

With over 75 waived players due to roster cuts, Peter Carey found and interest in former Penguin left winger, Pascal Dupuis and former Red Wing defensemen, Nikolas Kronwall.

"Dupuis will be able to move up and progress for us. I think he will be an interesting piece to this franchise and we'll see where it ends up.

Kronwall is capable of playing on our second defensive pair and I'm excited to see him with the Islanders"

QUICK UPDATE

General Manager, Peter Carey announced today that tomorrow morning he will be leaving for a vacation which includes Key West and Sanabella Island (sp?). Any updates that he gets in tonight will be the only ones up until Thursday night. Thanks for your patience and We're looking forward to seeing you back here Thursday Night when Carey makes his return.

Gunna enjoy my last day here. I will be heading back home round 2:00 pm tomorrow afternoon.
