Good Job Crushing Chicago.

My suggestion:

since you did a fantasy draft and the rosters are noting like they are irl, could you post goalie match-ups?

Anyway, keep this up, its really great.

Sharks Sign Second Young Goalie As Brodeur Jr. Joins Crew
San Jose, CA--The San Jose Sharks have announced that today they came to terms with Martin Brodeur Jr, a rookie goaltender. "I've seen him play, he's pretty good," said Coach/GM Dellapina. The Manager plans to split duties between Brodeur Jr and James Vines, the curent starting goalie who has given up only a goal a game, unless one proves to be far superior to the other.

Tonight, the Sharks do battle with the Edmonton Oilers, led by Saku Koivu, Mike Modano, and franchise goaltender Dominek Hasek.

Peca Beats Hasek In Franchise Throwdown

San Jose, CA--Michael Peca made it rain tonight at San Jose Arena.

Raining hats, that is.

In a duel with the top-notch goaltender Dominek Hasek, considered by many the greatest netminder in the game today, Michael Peca put the puck in between the pipes thrice and made the infamous masked man play the part of a fool.

Edmonton came into the game knowing if they wanted to win, they had to win early. Goals by Koivu, who was injured later but returned in the third, and Peltonen rose the Oilers above the Sharks 2-0 after the first.

The Sharks then buckled down, with four goals in period two, two of them by temporary captain and first-line center Michael Peca. "Peca's been playing out of his mind," commented Dellapina. "To think that talent like him slipped to the fifth or sixth round amazes me. He's definitely in contention for the C."

In the third period, after Peca brought down the hats with his third goal, Mike Modano attempted to spark a comeback with a goal, but only led to a fight betwen Stevenson and Luke Richardson.

Dominek Hasek, although giving up five goals, made 42 stops during the night, while James Vines simply faced 18 shots, 15 of which never reached the net.
