I was actually leaning towards that way. Both Kadri and Stalberg are leading the baby leafs in points (Bozak has been disappointing).
What I might do is just bench Hagman for a while and call one of them up to take his place. I think I have enough bruisers on the team to make up for the loss in toughness, the scoring punch on the 3rd line with either rookie could be potent with Wallin and Primeau. Will have to try that out.

Game Synopsis:

Talk about a scoring streak, as Stajan scored another 2 goals tonight (thats 3 consecutive 2 goal games) to lead the Leafs to thier 4th straight victory.

"He's on fire, with players like him the cup is not to far away." Gustavsson praised his teammate.

Stajan (2 goals), Kaberle, and Stempniak tallied for the Leafs while Staal got the lonely goal for the Canes. Gustavsson also had a great night going 20/21 while Ward went 30/34.

The Leafs powerplay was at a 50% efficiency going 1/2 while killing off 8/9 Cane opportunities.

"What a game. Everything is clicking and I put it all on excellent coaching." Kaberle was quoted after the game.

Game Synopsis:

The Leafs make it 5 in a row with another win over the Caps and once again Stajan has another 2 goal night (Thats 8 goals in 4 games) as well picking up an assist.

Ovechkin was quoted after the game. "Stajan has been a sleeper all these years. I hope his goal sucess continues.

Grabovski, Stajan (2 goals), Blake scored for the men in blue while only Backstrom and Semin found the back of the net for the Caps.

Kaberle also had a good night recording 2 assists, both on Stajan goals.

The Leafs penalty kill was a disaster going 0/1 while thier powerplay suceed on 2/6 chances. Gustavsson recorded his 12 win of the season going 18/20 while Varalamov managed 25/28.

"I am very happy with Stajans success. I put him on the 1st line cause I knew he had it in him. Now he is proving that assessment right, I coudln't be more happier." Burke told reporters during the post game show.

Grabovski Down, Is He Out?

From The Locker Room:

A 2nd injury in less then 3 games strikes the Leafs as a forward now is the unlucky recipient.

Grabovski, trying to make a defensive move, missed Knuble and launched himself into the boards early in the 1st period. Clutching his right shoulder as he exited the ice, he was not seen again.

"It was unfortunate that we lost him for the game, even though we won. But not all is lost as Grabovski will be able to play with his injury. I was notified by doctors that its not serious and with a shoulder brace he will be able to maintain his duties on the 2nd line. I have notified the Marlies that we might have to call up a player, but at this time nothing is in the works." Burke told CBC Sports.

Wow, you've been getting a lot of injuries. I rarely ever see any in my Be-A-Gms.

True, but they have been manageable. The wierd thing here is there all above the waist injuries, wrist-shoulder.
