Rumor Mill

Rumors are flying around that R.J. Umberger of the Columbus Blue Jackets is being sought after by the Penguins. No one in either clubs front office is offering any information about this, but the Penguins might be looking to deal Pascal Dupuis for Umberger.

This is all a rumor and if any other news comes out, it will be reported. The Penguins are already pretty stacked this year with the acquisition of Jaromir Jagr.

Umberger has always said he would like to be a member of the team he grew up watching. He is from a small town outside of the city of Pittsburgh and his family have continued to support their hometown team, as long as they are not playing RJ's team. Look for more information to be leaked out as the next few weeks go by.

I don't think he is doing that great in my chise. Which is one reason I am thinking of bringing him to pittsburgh. Dupuis is not producing much for me this year yet and trying to get a decent player to add to the star power.

Then he would be perfect for your Crosby-Kunitz line.

Re: Pittsburgh Penguins Dynasty (NHL 2009)

Yeah i need to put my lines up here. I am using default rosters on 2009. I don't have Kunitz.

Line 1: Jagr, Crosby, Sykora
Line 2: Fedotenko, Malkin, Satan
Line 3: Cooke, Staal, Kennedy
Line 4: Beech, Talbot, Dupuis

Defense
1: Gonchar and Whitney
2: Sydor and Gill
3: Orpik and Letang

I believe those are the lines. I know Line 1 and 2 are right for Offense. Can't remember the D Pairings off the top of my head.

But if i can get Umberger for Dupuis, then he will go with Crosby and Sykora goes to Line 3 and Cooke to line 4.

I think you should put Kennedy on a line with Malkin, he's fast and tough, he could do great with Malkin.
