Wow this is quite the story line! My first thoughts were, "Noooo...not my Capitals! He's dismantled them!" But after reading through the rest it is a really interesting concept. I can't believe I'm saying this but I really want to see how well Ovie and Crosby do together. Their stat lines should be off the charts!

Really enjoying it so far but I don't think George McPhee is enjoying it...LOL!

It take it there is no CAP? They could never afford all those players but I enjoy the concept.

Yeah, I'm anxious to see how they do as well. I expect nothing less than 100 point seasons from the two of them.

It take it there is no CAP? They could never afford all those players but I enjoy the concept.

I play with cap off because the CPU doesn't let all their star players go into free agency that way, but I play by house rules so my team personally wont be going over the cap.

Goaltending might be an issue for you, but then again in my chise (1st year) I had a rookie goalie with a rating of 80 and Clemmensen with a rating of 76 and I had the 3rd least goals, so maybe it will work for you.

I also have Babchuk on my team, but he's a 3rd pairing D-man with Marc-Andre Bergeron.

I think your post just highlights how much of a challenge this season should be, and that's how I wanted it. It should be interesting.

I might try and make a small trade for Bergeron, he's not as much of a defensive liability in the game as he is in real life, and his shot is just ridiculous.
