Re: Avalanche WARNING

-Anderson shuts the door late in period 3.

Stastny = Clutch
-Brett Driscoll,St.Paul,Min.

Minnesota came out strong in tonights game as Latendresse scored on a nice feed from Bouchard. Colorado just seemed tired. That didnt change in the second period as with 9:45 left, former Av, Andrew Brunette scored on a wrist shot from the slot. In the second intermission coach Drover must haved kicked some garbage cans around. Because only 2 minutes into the period David Backes connected on a hard slap shot. Coach Drover called a timeout and pulled the goalie, and rookie D-Man Jody Sabourin came through with a rocket from the point. which tied the game with only 30 seconds left to play.Overtime solved nothing. Paul Stastny who did not play up to the level that he has been playing prior to tonights game, came through when Colorado needed it, as he made no mistake deking Backstrom and cooly fliping it upstairs. Anderson made a huge desperation save on Koivu to ensure the victory.

The game ended Colorados lengthy road trip and the guys and this reporter is looking forward to coming back to Denver. Carolina travels to the MIle High city to take on the Av's Tuesday night.

Re: Avalanche WARNING

Unexpected Trade
-Bob Mackenzie,Tsn.ca

Here at TSN we have been commenting and reporting on a trade, that involves Nichloas Kronwall of the Detroit Redwings. That deal has not happend yet,but we do have som news on that front. From a unamed source from the Colorado Avalanche front office, they say trade talks have stalled between them and the Detroit Redwings. After the Redwings wanted to recieve John Michael Liles as a player in negotians. Colorado Avalanche supposely said that Liles was completley off limits. So the Kronwall deal is up in the air.

On another front we do have some concrete news today as the Ottawa Senators and the Edmonton Oilers , completed a player for player deal.
Going to the "city of champions" is long time vetern Senator, Chris Neil and heading to the nations capital is skilled forward Robert Nilsson.
For the oilers a far undersized team they get some grit and sand paper into thier lineup that they despertaly need. For the Senators they get a good prospect with some nice skills with the stick, who hasn't lived up the potential that the Oilers felt he had.

Trade F- R.Nillson

for

F- C.Neil

Re: Avalanche WARNING

Interesting trade there between Edmonton and Ottawa.

P.S. I don't mean to be a spelling Nazi but what browser do you use? Because that last write up had a whole bunch of spelling mistakes which could easily be caught if you have a browser with spell check or something.

Then again I guess you could proof read a couple times but who the hell wants to waste time doing that when the computer will do it for you?

Oops, my bad then, carry on.

BTW I've never posted in here (I'm on three different sites, so many to comment on, lol) but I do follow from time to time and you've got a pretty good dynasty here.
