Rangers head to Newark to challenge Devils

The Rangers and Devils rivalry is one that has much between it. Many words have been spoken between the two teams. Either it's Adam Graves and Mark Messier sticking up for their team, or Claude Lemieux and Peter Stastny explaining the cowardness of the opponent, it always creates drama that lights the fire between the two teams. It's happened again, this time with Sean Avery. Avery, known for his big mouth and his crazy pest-like attitude on the ice puts himself back on the spotlight with his recent comments of Devils Winger David Clarkson and Goaltender Martin Brodeur.

"They suck, they just plain suck. Brodeur is a pansy who needs his whole team to defend him, dude is a woman, classless. And that Clarkson fella, that guy is softer than Clay Aiken himself. If he's their tough guy, then they must not know what tough is"

Those words, spoken by Sean Avery after the 10-2 victory over Ottawa, caused an uproar in Devils nation. Reporters and sources contacted both players to respond to the comments. Brodeur declined to comment, but Clarkson had this to say.

"Avery, that tool, I'm coming after him, done and done"

We'll see what happens when these rivals meet up at the Prudential Center, later tonight.
