Re: Wake Up The Sleeping Giant (A Leafs BAGM)

Leafs Effort Not Enough

The Toronto Maple Leafs failed to win two straight games. Hosting the current Stanley Cup Champions, the Leafs knew that they had to stop Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin.

Well, they've done that, but still failed to win. Sid "The Kid" and Geno had no chance to shot at goal. Despite erase the two main threats of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Jordan Staal and Ponikarovski lead the Pens to victory.

Fredrik Sjoström scored his second goal in two games, since he was changed to fourth line. Giguere had a bad game with only 71 SV%, and Gustavsson is expected to start next game.

Ok...

Love the defensive pairings for sure!!! Nice work on those takeshi! I really like Stalberg with Grabovski on the second line...if only Kadri was ready to center that line. That would be quite the line of young talent. Could you post the current forward lines. Trying to keep up with all the changes. Thanks and great job!

P.S. Laich scored a hat trick?!?!? I can't get that guy to score to save my life in my franchise. Wish I knew how the computer does it with him. I've noticed he's a 20+ goal scorer in a couple other franchises too. Grrr...

Thanks. The current forward lines are:

Line 1: N. Kulemin / T. Bozak / P. Kessel
Line 2: V. Stalberg / J. Mitchell / M. Grabovski
Line 3: L. Caputi / R. Wallin / C. Hanson
Line 4: F. Sjoström / W. Primeau / C. Orr

Let's see how Kadri plays in Marlies. If he performes well, maybe we can give him a chance.
In that game Laich was just lucky. Well it was my fault as well, but he scored a rebound and a breakaway, I just gave him the puck.

Also Takeshi, don't be offended if I say, "yay!" when you lose. I hate the leafs. But I'll give you conflicting morale support with my nice side.

"DON'T! The leafs suck!"

"Shut up, alter ego!"

Sorry about that

Takeshi, I was wondering if I could use your idea for my dynasty. You know, putting other people onto the team and helping you make decisions. I just had my first game with Colorado. I think I've made them competitive with a few trades, but I still only won 6-3, and Nabokov was off his game. Osgood won't hold up forever!

So, can I take that idea?

Sure. This is a community, nobody owns anything. Good luck with your dynasty! I'll be the first to join.
