Re: NHL 11 GM summit

So last night my friend wanted to play, and I let him play my dynasty (bad decision)

He not only lost to edmonton 7-3 but

C John Mitchell (79) will be out 6-7 weeks with a broken rib

I have called up

C Tim Brent (74) to center the fourth line untill I can either bring in a center via free agency or mitchell returns.

In other injur news

RW Mike Brown (77) has roughly 2 weeks untill he returns from a broken leg

Re: NHL 11 GM summit

One more quick injury update

RW Phil Kessel is out for 1-2 weeks with a strained hamstring

I have called up

LW Luca Caputi (74) he will see third line work and Nikolai Kulemin (80) will move into my second line void.

At this point my lack of franchise depth is glaring, the team is weakening badly, and rapidly. Lets hope the guys can pull through. I will be leaning heavily on Parise and versteeg in the coming games.

Friends do not let friends play their dynasties.

Tough loss with all the injures. I'd kick your friends *** if I were you. With a shovel.

Re: NHL 11 GM summit

30 game report: Maple Leafs

Past ten games: (3-6-1)
Nov 26: 6-1 loss to BUF
Nov 27: 3-1 win against OTT
Nov 30: 2-1 loss to TB
Dec 2: 9-3 loss to EDM
Dec 4: 3-0 loss to BOS
Dec 6: 4-0 loss to WSH
Dec 8: 3-1 loss to PIT
Dec 9: 4-1 win against PHI
Dec 11: 3-0 win against MON
Dec 14: 5-1 loss to EDM

11-15-4

Still keeping pace to what I expected. Though recently injuries have been a big concern, with 3 players out at the same time in a thin as is line up, not good.

Team stats:
Games played: 30
Wins: 11 (29th)
Losses: 15 (8th)
Overtime losses: 4 (4th)
Points: 26 (28th)
Point %: 43.3% (27th)
Goals for: 52 (30th)
Goals for per game: 1.73 (30th)
Goals against: 76 (1st)
Goals against per game: 2.53 (1st)
Power play goals: 13 (39th)
Total power plays: 67 (30th)
Powerplay %: 19.4% (12th)
Short handed goals against: 3 (8th)
Power play goals against: 37 (2nd)
Times short handed: 87 (30th)
Penalty kill %: 61.9% (30th)
Short handed goals for: 2 (19th)

Moved up in a couple catagories, slowly edging forward.

Team leaders: Toronto Maple Leafs (skater)

Goals: LW Z. Parise (10)
Assists: LW Z. Parise (9) C M. Grabovski (9)
Points: LW Z. Parise (19)
Penalty Minutes: D D. Phaneuf (52)
Plus/Minus: LW Jay Rosehill (+7)
Powerplay goals: LW Z. Parise (5)
Shorthanded goals: C M. Grabovski (1) C T. Brent (1)
Game winning goals: RW P. Kessel (3)
Game tying goals: C T. Bozak (1)
Shots: LW K. Versteeg (78)

Face off wins: C M. Grabovski (209)
Face off tried: C M. Grabovski (398)
Face off %: C M. Grabovski (52.5%)
Hits: D D. Phaneuf (89)
Give aways: D M. Jones (75)
Takeaways: C M. Grabovski (84)
Minutes: D M. komisarek (674)

Not scoring enough as usual. Komo phaneuf and beauchemin are on my trading block, I really hope someone makes an offer, dying to rid of them.

Team leaders: Toronto Maple leafs (goalies)

Games played: J. Gustavsson (19) J. Giguere (12)
Goals against average: J. Gustavsson (2.12) J. Giguere (2.88)
Wins: J. Gustavsson (9) J. Giguere (2)
Losses: J. Gustavsson (10) J. Giguere (9)
Goals against: J. Gustavsson (40) J. Giguere (32)
Save percentage: J. Gustavsson 91.6% J Giguere (89.5%)
Shots against: J. Gustavsson (478) J. Giguere (304)
Shutouts: J. Gustavsson (5) J. Giguere (0)
Minutes: J, Gustavsson (1132) J. Giguere (667)
Penalty minutes: J. Giguere (8) J. Gustavsson (2)

Gustavsson is still leading the way, he has slipped a bit but is still giving me a chance in all the games he plays in.

Noteables: I have little secondary scoring my top line is 1.2.3.4 in scoring then it really drops from there. Kessel has a hard time staying healthy missing two weeks earlier, and is now injured again for another two weeks. Kulemin has been playing better of late but needs to bring his game up.

Komisarek, Beauchemin and phaneuf are doing nothing. I get the hits from them and alot of penalties but thats it, on the flip side gunarsson is provding the points from the back end with 11 so far, 3 goals 8 assists.

Zach Parise has gone almost completly cold. with only a couple of assists the past few games

30 game report: Marlies

17-11-5

Goals for: 105 (4th)
Goals for per game: 3.18 (3rd)
Goals against: 87 (10th)
Goals against per game: 2.64 (11th)

The cardinal rule, never let anyone play your dynasty...

I hope the injury situation doesn't hurt you too much. GO LEAFS GO
