This is my first ever dynasty so you guys will have to forgive me if I am not grammatically correct. I will be posting monthly updates and some games but not ever single one of them. I will also post how the league updates is doing every 20 or so games. As i get farther along i may go more into depth, we will see.

I will be simming the first season to catch up going into the 2011-2012 season.

Good Luck, you have a good franchise in Detroit, but many say they are getting older so it'll be a good time to invest in some youth before all your superstars retire.

As a rookie dynasty writer, I suggest to just keep it simple to start out with. Often times people try to do too much and burn themselves out and never finish. Believe me when Dynasty reporting stops being fun and starts seeming like work you'll never finish.

Thanks, I am excited about this but like you said I really don't want to get burned out.

I tried to stick to what the wings did in the off season but it is becoming difficult. I can't sign Jiri Hudler so I have picked somebody else up.

First Detroit one I have seen on here since I started following dynasties. I am interested to see what you do with the large amount of older players and how you replace them going forward.

Interesting choice, like Sens and Dom mentioned, you are going to have to deal with a lot of player turnover I think. If I have one tip for you, it would be to hang onto Tatar, he becomes quite good with the right development.

Detroit has signed Center Eric Belanger to a 3 year $1.120M contract.

Eric Belanger has spent the last 10 years in the nhl with 6 different team. In the 634 games that he has played he has a total of 299 points. 121 of those are goals. The Red Wings are looking to get a key face off man for the 3rd or 4th line.
