This will be the roster for the start of the season, there is alot of work to do for the Canadiens to be cup contenders, i think this is why GM Marc-Andre Lavoie fired Head coach Jacques Martin on the 5th of june only to hire Guy Carbonneau 6 days later to take his place. Guy Carbonneau, who's already been the Canadiens head coach just a couple of years ago, was more then happy to accept the offer.
''When i got the call it took me around ... 5 seconds to say yes, i was thrilled by the offer, i have a good team in my hands and i know i can make the best come out of this team'' said Carbonneau in an interview on CBC Sports.

Montreal who was 3-1 in the off season will play the next game at the Maples Leafs home on the 6th of October.

The Montreal Canadiens have lost to their all time rivals the Toronto Maple Leafs last night, with constant effort the Canadiens managed to keep to score in reach and scored the tying goal in the last 2 minutes of the third period. M. Lombardi scored in the shootout to end the game.
M.Grabovski will have to explain to the league his actions when he did a boarding on C.Price behind the net, Price was slightly injured on the play but is ok to play the next game against the Winnipeg Jets on October 9th. That is if Guy Carbonneau decides to make him play or leaves him a break to heal correctly. T.Kaberle took Price's defense and fought Grabovski winning the fight easily.
M-A. Bergeron injured T.Connoly in the second period, Bergeron made a clean hip check that made Connoly flip and hit is head on the ice, he will be out for 1-2 weeks with a mild concussion.
Thank you, i have had a little problem with my internet lately, will post updates about the last games i played, not in details but the scores. I will also continue the dynasty story and i hope i can do good with the team, i never played All-star but it seems more realistic as i lose some, while on normal i win them all.
Also i have made a trade to get the sedin brothers, this trade involved a couple of draft picks (i already have enough prospects) will post the details of the trade as soon as possible.
