INJURY REPORT

Well as if the Sens season couldn't get off to a worse start, in a 3-2 Overtime loss to Colorado the Sens suffered 2 injuries. Forward Zack Smith took a Kyle Quincey slapshot off his ankle early in the first period. Smith did not return to that game. X-Rays have concluded that his ankle is broken and he will miss 4 to 6 weeks.

Team Captain, Daniel Alfredsson was on the receiving end of a Gabriel Landeskog hit, which tweaked his shoulder. Alfredsson will be out of the lineup indefinitely while he heals.

GM Bryan Murray has called up (C) S. Da Costa and (LW) K. Daugavins from Binghamton. Both players saw limited NHL playing time last season.
