Against a strong offensive New Jersey Devils team we held our ground and kept the puck out of our net. Cam Ward and Martin Brodeur had a real goaltenders duel. Cam Ward came on on top. In OT it was captain Eric Staal that showed Carolina the way to victory. Carolina has a 3 game winning streak.

After a beating by the Rangers, we needed to step up. But our opponent was a very strong Pittsburgh team. We did all right for 2 periods. Then we handed Pittsburgh an easy SHG. Stupid turnover. Again!! Then a few stupid penalties and a turnover in the following PP. 2-0 behind and we were by far the better team. Brent Johnson was very good. But our play gives me hope.

Injury report:
Bryan Allen (D) left the ice in this Pittsburgh game. He has a post concussion syndrome and will be out untill 7th december (3 to 4 weeks). Scandella has been called up and will take Allen's place.

Big win against the Canadiens. The 4th line gave us this win. Tough guys (Ivanans) who score good goals are always nice to have. Carey Price gave up many rebounds, but also stopped a lot of them. Not enough though.
