Patience will be the key I think. There are enough good players in the roster/system that need (and will) to grow and I have faith in the 2012 draft. I have good teamplayers, but I need a superstar Stamkos/Ovechkin sniper. Maybe Skinner will turn out like one. I am a long term manager, I like to think.

@Studio Sport: Insiders have told Dutch NOS reporter Ellen Hoog that Carolina GM Jo Loonstra made a 1 year contract proposal to free agent defenseman Bryan McCabe. Loonstra would like to have more depth in defense and McCabe gives Carolina extra options on the PP.
