Devils Win Third Straight Behind Power Play
Adam Henrique and Michael Ryder scored on the powerplay, and Gabriel Landeskog added an even strength goal as the Devils got past the Central Division leading Chicago Blackhawks 4-1. Martin Brodeur was just 1:04 away from his fourth shutout of the season when Marian Hossa scored, but Patrik Elias added an empty netter for his 12 to keep the Devils far on top.

Schneider's Hot Glove Wins It in Shootout
Michael Ryder scored in the second round of the shootout, and Cory Schnieder robbed Drew Stafford with his quick glove to give the Devils the shootout victory. The Devils took a 2-1 lead after former Devil Jacob Josefson ran Adam Larsson, and Patrik Elias batted in a puck off a rebound, but Drew Stafford tied it for Buffalo in the third to force OT.
