How does your team have Jarome Iginla?

Good start to the career. Got a goal in your first NHL contest, and have the Avalanche at over .500 so far in the young season. Also, I notice the veteran presence on the roster. Iginla? Hejduk? And I am a homer for Tyson Barrie, so nice to see him land on the score sheet against the Predators.

Well since it's career mode I don't control any of that stuff but I started the career off with the default rosters and I don't think they had him on the Bruins yet so the Av's ended up with him.

Yeah it's been a good start so far except I have a few turnover issues due to just not being used to the new deke controls and because I don't know what my teammates are going to do sometimes. But, having Iginla and Hejduk have really been playing a huge part earlier on and Barrie's been in the mix quite a bit too.

Game #5 vs Calgary Flames (3-1-0)

Sandmann was kept quiet for the second game in a row as the Av's fan out the Flames in a 3-2. Paul Stastny and Gabriel Landeskog were the stars of the Av's offense today. Stasny put the puck in the net twice in the third period to give the Av's. He couldn't have done it if it wasn't for Landeskog delivering the puck to him both times. Due to Sandmann's performance in his last two games Coach Roy has decided to move him down to the 2nd line. During the preseason, Sandmann had a lot of success with Stastny and Landeskog and Coach Roy is hoping that playing with them again will help boost his young wingers stats.
