In all seriousness, yeah, it happens. Sure, winning is a nice feeling, but when you start destroying property, it's time to relax, shut the system off, and go out for awhile.

Impressive to see Brandon Saad score for both the Predators and Blackhawks. I knew he was good, but god damn, I didn't realize the NHL instituted a rule to declare that Saad had to take a shift with the opposition during the game.

I'll use posts like this to recap how the Rockford IceHogs are doing, and to spotlight a player that might be ready to make the jump or if they are having a solid season. Currently Marcus Kruger is doing a fine job as the second line center, but if we were to need any help down the middle Brandon Pirri might be the first choice. 40 game update tomorrow-ish, maybe some tonight.

It's becoming clear that we have a good team but the holes on the PK could very well keep us from our ultimate goal. It also seems as though the fix might night be in the organization, stay tuned, chatter is picking up.
